Did Someone Say RGBW?
The palette of light is expanding. Although light naturally exists in every color in the rainbow, the colors available to lighting designers were limited by the capability of lighting technology or locked inside a lighting control system too sophisticated to unlock for anything less than a stage production. New lighting sources and control technology are releasing the magic of many-colored lights in solutions that enable architects and lighting designers to transform everything—from one of the busiest transit hubs in the nation to a site often referred to as a Wonder of the World (Niagara Falls) to spaces that are simpler, and simply stunning. This issue of SSL Online is dedicated to sharing some of the impressive projects design teams are developing with the RGBW technology available today.
